🚀 Launch Episode!

Welcome to the very first chapter of our journey. This is where it all begins.

🎙️ Welcome to 3 Junior — Our First Ever Episode!

Hi everyone — and welcome to 3 Junior, a brand-new podcast created by three high school students with big curiosity and even bigger questions. We’re Merve, Eda, and Iris — and we started this podcast to explore life beyond textbooks and exams. Our goal? To learn from real people with real stories.

This isn’t just another school project. It’s something we built from scratch, fueled by our desire to connect, ask, and grow. We believe that learning doesn’t only happen in classrooms — sometimes, it happens in conversations.

We’ve worked hard behind the scenes to shape this platform — from selecting guests and recording interviews to designing visuals and launching this very blog. So thank you for being here at the beginning.

Each week, we’ll meet someone with a unique background — a professional, a student, a teacher, or someone with a story we believe is worth hearing. Every conversation brings a new perspective, and every episode ends with a creative mini project that turns what we’ve learned into something useful and visual.

For our very first episode, we wanted to start strong — and with something that most of us know so little about: anesthesiology. What actually happens while you’re “asleep” during surgery? Who makes sure you wake up safely? Who monitors your body when you’re unconscious?

Today, we go behind the scenes of the operating room to answer those questions — and more.

🧠 What We Learned: Highlights from the Interview

🔹 What do anesthesiologists actually do?

They do way more than “put people to sleep”! They’re responsible for managing pain, monitoring vital signs, and keeping patients stable during surgery. In short: they’re the silent protectors.

🔹 Why did they choose this path?

Our guest shared that the decision was part curiosity, part unexpected turns — and completely life-changing.

🔹 The pressure is real.

They spoke about the emotional weight of holding someone’s life in your hands, and how teamwork in the operating room makes everything possible.

🔹 Myths busted.

Many people think anesthesiologists just show up before surgery and leave — but their role begins long before and ends long after the operation.

🔹 What kind of person thrives in this field?

You need focus, calmness under pressure, and empathy — lots of it.

🎯 Mini Project: 5 Things You Didn’t Know About Anesthesiologists

Inspired by this episode, we created a short infographic + audio post for Instagram titled:

“5 Things You Didn’t Know About Anesthesiologists.”

It highlights surprising facts, common misconceptions, and why their work deserves way more appreciation.
